George A. Baker
Mr. George A. Baker has a background as a highly accomplished attorney, in-house contracts attorney, and probate judge and he brings over 18 years of experience in educating and advising high net worth clients in estate planning and business succession planning. His track record clearly demonstrates his abilities to analyze situations, develop plans, present options, draft documents, and effectively communicate with business professions throughout all levels of an organization.
After receiving his BS in Public Policy from Eastern Connecticut State University in Windham, Connecticut in 1986, Mr. Baker attended Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he received his JD in 1989. He passed the Connecticut Bar exam in the fall of 1989.

In 1989, Mr. Baker accepted a position with DuBeau, Ryan & Boyan, P.C. in Vernon, Connecticut as an attorney. He engaged in the general practice of law and represented clients in the areas of contract law, real estate, business planning, and estate planning and probate administration. In 1996, he became a partner of the firm.
In 1995, Mr. Baker was elected probate judge for the district of Tolland, a position he served in from 1995 to 1999. Mr. Baker excelled as probate judge and received accolades from the Office of Probate Court Administration for his outstanding efforts in the development and implementations of procedures that completely reorganized the court operations and produced one of the most organized and efficient probate courts in Connecticut. After deciding to move out of the probate court district Mr. Baker served only one term as judge, but he is proud of the fact that the processes and procedures that he developed are still being utilized by the staff he hired and trained and that the court continues to operate in an effective manner.
In 1998, Mr. Baker accepted the position of contract administrator and legal counsel for Tiger Enterprises & Trading, Inc. in Ellington, Connecticut. Mr. Baker negotiated and drafted inventory lot purchase agreements and consignment agreements. He successfully built the consignment division of the company by negotiating contracts and developing the internal operating procedures to ensure contract compliance.
In 2000, Mr. Baker accepted a position at the firm of Levy & Droney, P.C., in Farmington, Connecticut, in their private client group where he specialized in contract law, business planning, estate planning and probate administration. Mr. Baker became a partner at Levy & Droney in January of 2004. He excelled in building relationships with clients and professionals in the accounting, insurance, and financial industries.
In 2007, Mr. Baker began a career as the Connecticut Area Director for National Scouting Report where he scouts high school athletes for colleges. Mr. Baker educates high school athletes on the recruiting process and promotes and markets them to colleges. Through the National Scouting Report program these athletes obtain college scholarships to play sports in college.

Mr. Baker is married and the father of two daughters. He loves running and watching his daughters play soccer.
